You can ask to have your email removed at any time, but it will be stored again if you book any further Lavender Paws services.

  5. The extent of the performance and content of sessions/ workshops will be as advertised for the specific workshop/course on the website. Travel costs, accommodation and food/drinks are not included, unless specified.

  8. Places are booked on a ‘first come first serve’ basis.

  9. If Lavender Paws needs to cancel a Mantrailing session for any reason clients booked on that session will be offered a place on an alternative session. If no suitable session can be found within 90 days of the original session, payees will be entitled to a full refund.

  10. If the participant needs to cancel less than 72hours before a booking no refund or reschedule can be provided. The booking can be rescheduled to another date only if that space can be assigned to another participant who has attended an Introductory course from a Mantrailing UK qualified Instructor. The participant who needs to withdraw may use the Member's Facebook Group 'Lavender Paws Mantrailing' to advertise their slot to other member's. Any financial agreement made between the withdrawing participant and their replacement is strictly between them and Lavender Paws will not become involved. Rescheduling but not refunding of appointments can be done up to 72 hours before the scheduled appointment.

  11. All participants must have a suitable harness for their dog and a safe and suitable place for their dog to wait between trails where they will be out of the sight of other dogs (e.g. in a vehicle). Participants are entirely responsible for ensuring adequate temperature control and availability of water for their dog between trails. All trailing needs to be done on a fixed length long line (i.e. never an extendable).

  12. Lavender Paws Dog Training is a positive reward based training business and retains the right to end participation in a session, at whatever stage, of any dog wearing a prong or e-collar, physically reprimanded in a harsh manner, or showing signs of illness/injury.

  13. You must follow the guidelines of the trainers and helpers of Lavender Paws Dog Training. Dogs must be on lead if not worked, unless the trainer gives consent that you can walk your dog off lead in a designated area. Please note to always be mindful & courteous with pedestrians and traffic. You are required to wear a high vis vest or similar when requested to do so, this is for yours and others safety. Lavender Paws Dog Training does not take any responsibility for any failure to comply with the law/local bye-laws while participating in the event/service.

  14. Whilst Lavender Paws will take care to minimise risk wherever possible, e.g. by providing Hi Vis vests or warning participants about conditions Lavender Paws Dog Training can not be held responsible for injuries sustained by handler or dog in the course of the session, or damage to equipment/vehicles and all participants should be aware that Mantrailing will sometimes involve uneven or slippery conditions, exposure to dogs owned by members of the public using the same location, other road users using the same car parks etc. You are responsible for yourself, your dog and your equipment in the same way that you would be entering any public area to exercise your dog.

  15. The trainer/organiser will determine the length of the event/seminar based on the progress of each participant and their dogs as well as the number of participants and the physical and psychological capability of each dog. The trainer will act in the best interest of the dog and can therefore order a rest for a dog or put a halt on further training sessions. If the participant is late for the event/service, it is their own fault and the trainer/organiser will not stop/pause the event/service because of this. The participant is not eligible to make up for any missed hours/days or get a reduction of cost because of such.
